The recipe for these cookies is right here. They are pretty easy to make and they are really yummy! The sugar cookie recipe is definitely a keeper.
And the instructions for these valentines are right here. They are easy enough to make that Hunter could do them by himself except for punching the holes in the right places. I did that part. We used pre-cut craft foam hearts and craft foam stickers from Walmart to save time. The valentine Hunter is holding is for his new little girlfriend, Sophia, and he used his "best handwriting" on it just for her. Lucky girl!
We had these heart-shaped english muffins for breakfast since we had a two-hour school delay. I got the recipe from Ginny and you can get the recipe here. Mine didn't turn out nearly as perfect as Ginny's but they sure tasted good. With a little raspberry jam, they are perfect for Valentine's Day Breakfast. Of course I think we're going for the heart-shaped Krispy Kreme donuts tomorrow.
Your english muffins look great! They actually look like hearts instead of butts which is what Matthew said mine looked like. I am going to try your cookies though and maybe get the heart shaped doughnuts tomorrow, my kids would love it! Thanks for the tips!
Wow Shana... I love all the wonderful, hands-on activites you are doing with your family to share the joy of the holiday. Those cards that Hunter made are adoreable and I bet a big hit at school tomorrow. I am having a hard time finding the cookie recipe. Could you send it my way when you get a chance or a link that might work better for me. Thanks! Denise
